Goals of DynaTerre research project
1
The goals of DYNATERRE project are:
- obtaining a better mechanical knowledge of earth masonry
- optimizing the construction material conception and production
- defining the set of key parameters characterizing the material behavior in structural modeling for seismic design
1
The project is developed following a progression of knowledge
of the structural response of masonry buildings at different scales:
starting from the scale of raw materials,
then of the composite material,
going towards the structural element,
to arrive at the global response of the building.
WP 2 :
Parametric experimental analysis
Sensibility analysis of Compressed Earth Block strength in compression and shear
Experimental characterization of the bloc-mortar-bloc interface
WP 3:
Characterization of wall mechanical behavior
Mechanical parameters of Compressed Earth Block masonry walls
in elastic and plastic regime
WP 4:
Structural and environmental performance
of CEB masonry structures
Antiseismic design of CEB masonry structures
and Life Cycle Assessment
